I read to Freddie ever since he was born, we started with some children classics and I still remember how he wriggled with delight aged six weeks when we read In the Night Kitchen, then he went through a stage of chewing on books and when he turned one he was asking to have books read on a daily basis, same ones over and over again.
Now, nearly two, he can ask for his favourites but he gets bored every now and again and I have to research new ones. So, in my search I came across so many wonderful books I’d like to share.
I really love the Jennifer Adams baby classics by Little Miss Austen and Little Master Shakespeare and can’t wait to get my hands on them. In the meanwhile I ordered Now I Am Big! and I Can Do It Myself! Counting Birds by Alice Melvin is really great and beautifully illustrated and Dick Bruna needs no introduction. More books to come soon in time to order for Christmas.
