We went for a quick visit to Mayfield Lavender Farm in Banstead Downs. The visit was short as we got caught by torrential rain and ran for the open air shop. The shop was slightly disappointing, I was expecting big Provence-style bottles of lavender oil that will last for months on end but only found tiny little bottles of essential oil which were rather pricey for a farm shop.
Nevertheless seeing fields of lavender is always such a treat especially when the sun is shining.
