Last Sunday we went to the East End. Columbia Road Flower Market takes place every Sunday and it’s a fun place. Apart from the actual flower market it has got many wonderful shops and cafés.
Jessie Chorley & Buddug Humphrey is a lovely butique run by two friends. The interior is like a 18th century French boudoir. They specialise in hand crafted enamel jewelery, notebooks and cards made from recycled products. Probably the most original shop in London.
We had a quick lunch at the newly opened Campania – an Italian eatery. The place is serving good coffee, pastries, pizza and paninis. We tried a bit of pizza and a panini and sadly all the baked goods are very salty and served cold.
One of the shops we visited sells gardening tools and vintage crockery, I wanted to buy almost everything from that place! Unfortunately didn’t get it’s name. The shop has got a café at the back decorated with 70s furniture, absolutely loved it! Next time I visit the market I will definitely stop by for a cup of tea.
