In the meantime in the garden

The nice weather really sped things up. The radishes are finished and we started to enjoy salad leaves including rocket which I am very pleased about. The peas are nearly there and the broad beans, even though savaged by slugs, are doing very well. We have some incredible smelling roses, lupins have opened and the peony is nearly nearly there.

Brand new fence, built by hubby. The first coat of paint was the most horrible orange so we quickly had to redo it. The new paint is sage.

Preparation for the largest birthday gift ever – a greenhouse.

That is indeed the best birthday gift ever! Your veggies already seem well ahead of ours. Look at those peas!

We just repainted our shed, too, which was also an icky orange-brown (not at all what it looked like in the color chart) and is now a pale green :)

And I had the loveliest day at Kew. Looking forward to getting together again very soon!

Lovely greens and roses – you make me wish for a garden (and maybe even a greenhouse, too!)…

kristina: the colour descriptions are so misleading!

Sweet Freak: hello and thank you!

stuffedmice: indeed it is, once we get going with everything it will be a paradise.
