The garden is winding down for winter but I am still waiting for the dahlias to open, I had two so far, both yellow, just my luck! Last Friday on Gardeners’ World they showed a dahlia garden and believe me, this is not my intention, it was pure bonkers. All the asters got eaten by slugs and I know I need to up the plant production next year for late summer flowering, the garden is starting to look bit sad. I am thinking zinnias, snapdragons and cosmos. I also purchased few heather plants and I am loving them to bits.
In the vegetable and fruit news we have plenty of beetroots in three colours, lots of patty pans and courgettes as well as tomatoes, string beans and a much smaller crop of apples than last year.
The shed is coming together nicely too and you can see a little bit of it. We are recycling the cladding and it will need a coat of paint.
You may notice I nearly nailed Hipstamatic except a couple of frames, doh! Life just looks slightly more exciting with different lenses.
