H&M and Unicef

H&M All for Children

I am absolutely loving the new H&M collection All for Children which is a collaboration with Unicef. The goal is to improve lives of the little ones in Tamil Nadu, India, a massive producer of cotton and Dhaka, Bangladesh, one of the largest garment industries in the world. The project focuses on most vulnerable children aiming to prevent the causes of child labour, provide education and improve access to health care and good nutrition.

The collection is lovely and really well made using beautiful fabrics like cashmere or merino wool. The cute girls’ dresses are all sold out online unfortunately but there are still plenty of other bits available. I only wish I found that bunny hat and glove set earlier, would be a perfect Halloween outfit for F.

Can you believe we can’t do online shopping at H&M yet? They’ve been saying we’ll get that soon, but so far, nothing! We only just got Zara online shopping recently. Anyway, enough griping, I love that whole collection! And even more so because of the cause behind it. I sort of wish that jumper in the bottom right came in adult sizes, I love the color combination. And that frilly skirt up top. Sigh, I wish H&M had existed when I was kid. I would have been so stylish!

Oh no, that’s a huge shame Erin. Hope they get it sorted soon, it’s nearly 2013!
